Citizen Mutual Fund-1 reports NAV of Rs 10.06 for the month of Chaitra; Mutual Fund earned profit in its second month of its operation.

Citizen Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1), a 7 years close ended mutual fund has published its monthly report for the month of Chaitra. The mutual fund is the first mutual fund of CBIL Capital. The fund is managed by CBIL Capital with Citizens Bank International as the fund sponsor.

The mutual fund has reported increase in Net Assets Value (NAV) of Rs 10.06 from Rs 9.98, which was below the par value of Rs 10. The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 82 crore has invested Rs 1.12 crore in the shares of listed companies and 2.63 lakh on not listed companies.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Citizen Mutual Fund-1 has bought 6000 units shares of promoter shares of Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIB), along with the highest amount invested is Rs 34.50 lakh.  It has set aside Rs 80.63 crore as fixed deposit and Rs 9.56 lakh as bank balance.

It has reported net profit of Rs 51.41 lakh which was Rs 16.45 loss in the last month.
