Janata Bank shows decent performance in the quarterly report; Profit rises by whooping 50.76% in the third quarter.

Janata Bank Nepal Limited (JBNL) has published its quarterly report for the third quarter of the current fiscal year.

According to the unaudited report, its net profit as of the end of Q3 this year stands at Rs 57.57 crore, up 50.76% from the figure last year of Rs 38.18 crore.

Likewise, its deposit base has increased to Rs 54.57 arba and loans to Rs 21.164 arba, whereas in the same period last year, the figures stood at Rs 35.45 arba and Rs 33.24 arba respectively. Its net interest income has increased to Rs 1.57 arba in this period.

JBNL’s non-performing loan has decreased to 1.95% from 1.98% in this period in the previous year. Its Earnings Per Share (EPS) has shrunk to Rs 9.59 after increase in capital. Its net worth per sahre stands at Rs 117.13 and P/E ratio at 17.09 times.
