Laxmi Bank adds security feature Verified by Visa (VbV) Service for Debit Card Holders

Laxmi Bank has added an additional layer of security feature in association with and through Verified by Visa (VbV) - 3D Secured Service for their VISA Debit Card holders. The bank has implemented Verified by Visa (VbV) or 3D Secure Service which is an added security feature offered by Visa International that protects the cardholder against unauthorized use.

All of the bank’s VISA debit card can now be used to transact online on Verified by Visa (VbV) merchants sites. Once registered cardholders can safely make payments for their online purchases done over the Internet (e-Commerce Sites) using their VISA Debit Card. The service will be a value addition to debit card holders and promote safe and secure online transactions.

You can register and activate the service by visiting the bank’s website or at the time of entering payment details at participating online stores with Verified by VISA logo. Bank has successfully implemented this service with technical assistance from Izealiant Technologies Pvt. Ltd. India which is a VISA approved technology vendor.
