NMB Bank has commenced operations of 16 new branches in the newly formed local level government of the country in compliance with the Nepal Rastra Bank’s mandate to open branches in local units that had no access to banking services.

The new additions further expand the bank’s network to 108 branches across the country. “NMB’s footprints now cover a large geographical expanse of the country ranging from the Terai to the hilly and mountainous regions, wherein it is further strengthened by the network strength of its subsidiary - NMB Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha which has 75 branches in operation covering 38 districts.

"We are positive that the new branches shall contribute in the financial inclusion of the people in the areas that were hitherto deprived of banking services and help in uplifting their lives", said a statement issued by the Bank.
