NMB Sulav Investment Fund and NMB Hybrid Fund report increase in NAV; NAV stands at Rs 13.26 and Rs 10.32 for the month of Chaitra

 NMB Sulav Investment Fund-1 (NMBSF-1) and NMB Hybrid Fund L-1 (NMBHF-1), both promoted by NMB Bank Limited and managed by NMB Capital has reported slight increase in their net assets value (NAV) for the month of Chaitra, 2074.

According to the financial report published today, NMBSF-1 a 5 years close ended mutual fund scheme’s NAV increased to Rs 13.26 from the previous month’s value of Rs 13.17. The NAV of the fund is above the par value of Rs 10 per unit.

The mutual fund scheme which began with a total fund of Rs 75 crore, has investment of Rs 59.08 crore in listed shares and Rs 3.99 crore in the public issue, right shares and bonus shares. The fund has set aside Rs 1.40 crore in bonds and debentures.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, NMB Sulav Investment Fund-1 has bought Rs 3.09 crore worth of shares of Nepal Telecom.

NMBSF-1 reported net loss of Rs 9.43 crore for the month of Chaitra.

Likewise, NMBHF-1 a 7 years close-end mutual fund scheme’s NAV has decreased to Rs 10.32 in the month of Chaitra from Rs 10.20 of the previous month. The NAV is slightly above the par value of Rs 10 per unit.

The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs 1 arba, has invested Rs 26.22 crore in listed shares and Rs 2.46 crore in the public issue, right shares and bonus shares. The fund has set aside Rs 5 crore in bonds and debentures.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, NMB Hybrid Fund has bought Rs 3.27 crore worth of 44,720 shares of Nepal Telecom.

It has reported a net loss of Rs 1.79 crore for the month of Chaitra.
