169 Nepalis rescued from Indian city of Manipur

The police have rescued 169 Nepali nationals who were taken to Indian city of Manipur on the pretext of job opportunities but left stranded there.
A team led by Senior Superintendent of Police Prakash Adhikari, who is deputed in Nepali embassy in New Delhi, with the help of Indian police rescued the people on Wednesday.
The process to repatriate them was underway, said Adhikari. The police's spokesperson Uttam Raj Subedi said additional investigation was underway, and Indian police would be also asked for cooperation.
