45,98,000 Promoter Shares of JLI Converted; Promoter - Public Shareholding Ratio Changed To 51: 49

45,98,000 unit promoter shares of Jyoti Life Insurance Company Limited (JLI) are now converted to ordinary shares making the promoter-to-public share ratio of the company 51: 49.

Currently, the company has 24,200,000 unit shares listed in NEPSE. Likewise, the shareholding structure consisted of promotors (70%) and the public (30%) has been converted to 51% Promoter shares and 49% Public shares.

Just yesterday, Jyoti Life Insurance Company Limited (JLI) and Surya Life Insurance Company Limited (SLICL) have completed the merger process and have commenced joint operation from Poush 07 under the name "SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company Limited." The swap ratio for the merger was fixed at 1: 0.8245. 

As of writing, JLI has an LTP of Rs. 351.90.
