7,75,982.59 Bonus Shares of Prudential Insurance Company Listed in NEPSE

7,75,982.59 units bonus shares of Prudential Insurance Company Limited (PICL) have been listed in NEPSE.
The 20th AGM of the company held on Baisakh 11, 2079 endorsed a 7.368% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The 224th meeting of the board of directors held on Magh 24 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 1,10,85,46,560. From the paid-up capital, 7% i.e 7,75,982.59 units bonus shares worth Rs 7.75 crores and 0.368% cash dividend (for tax) worth slightly over Rs 40.84 lakhs were proposed.
The same bonus shares is now listed in NEPSE. Chaitra 24 was the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout.
As of writing, PICL has an LTP of Rs. 397.8.
