The benchmark index NEPSE increased by 16.46 points or 1.16% to close at 1440.29 points this week. NEPSE index opened at 1423.83 points and rises by 7.97 points on Sunday. On Monday and Tuesday, the benchmark index again rises by 24.27 points taking NEPSE to 1456.07 points and onlast trading days (Jan 10) market remains decline by -15.78 points and ends the week at 1440.29 points. This week total trading was 4 and Thursday NEPSE was closed to mark Prithivi Jayanti.
