Adhikhola Laghubitta Calls AGM on 13th Magh To Endorse 31.58% Dividend; When's the Book Closure?

Adhikhola Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AKBSL) has called its 6th AGM on 13th Magh, 2079. The meeting will be held in the Hotel Gaubesi Sabhahall, Waling, Syangja, starting at 11:30 AM.

Among the other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 31.58% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79. The 165th meeting of the board of directors held on Poush 08 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 11.90 crores. 30% bonus shares worth Rs 3.57 crores and 1.58% cash dividend (tax purpose) worth Rs 18.78 lakhs have been proposed.

Furthermore, there is an agenda to endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports and appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2079/80. Also, give full authority to the BoDs or a person designated by the BoDs to carry out all the necessary work-related amendments of the Articles of Association. 

The meeting will also discuss identifying and selecting a suitable microfinance company for merger/ acquisition, submitting an application to the NRB to sign a Memorandum of Understanding, and appointing a consultant, appraiser, or auditor to carry out all the works related to the acquisition or merger and implement all necessary amendments.

Adhikhola Laghubitta and CYC Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (CYCL) decided to go on a merger with each other and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Ashad 22, 2079 with a swap ratio of 100:70.

The book closure date is on Magh 03. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend this AGM.
