After 2 Days of Impressive Gain, Profit Booking Led NEPSE Lost 0.60% to Close at 1,972.15 Levels

The NEPSE index closed at 1,972.15 today after losing 11.81 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.60%. The index gained 59.87 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,991.86 and made an intraday low of 1,962.83. It made an intraday high of 1,993.95 and closed at 1,972.15.

257 scrips traded hands via 39,660 transactions. A total of 6,530,415 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.15 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 3.88 Arba.

Prime Commercial Bank Limited (PCBL) shares traded the most whereas Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) the highest turnover of Rs. 8.85 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 834.90 per share.

 

Central Finance Co. Ltd. (CFCL), Prabhu Life Insurance Limited (PLI), and Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) gained the highest 10% and hit a positive circuit for the day. Whereas, KLBS, SHLB and WNLB too increased by almost 10% today.

 

On the other side of things, Mahuli Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd (MSLB) lost the highest 5.20% today.

 

Out of 13 sectors, five sectors closed green, where the hydropower sector gained the highest 0.71%.
