After 3 Days Consecutive Gain, NEPSE Lose 21.67 Points to Close at 2,097.93

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 21.67 points, or 1.02%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,097.93 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 14.88 points for the index.

Today the market started with the index opening at 2,119.17 hitting an intraday low of 2,088.48, and reaching an intraday high of 2,131.28.

During today's trading, there were 313 different stocks traded in 95,645 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 14,777,120 with a total turnover of Rs. 5.529 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.96 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.31 Kharba.

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led in turnover, totaling Rs. 63.87 crore, and concluded the day with a market price of Rs. 714.60.

 

Similarly, Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) showed the highest gain of 9.87%, followed by Mandakini Hydropower Limited (MHL) with a gain of 9.67%.

 

On the flip side, Menchhiyam Hydropower Limited (MCHL) experienced the highest loss of 5.87%.

 

In terms of sector indices, Only one sector index closed in green today. The "Manufacturing And Processing Index" saw the highest gain of 0.14%, while the "Hotels And Tourism Index" saw a loss of 2.04%.
