After 7 Days Consecutive Gain, NEPSE Lose 32.77 Points to Close at 2,109.10; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs 6.27 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a huge loss of 32.77 points, or 1.53%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,109.10 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 35.39 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2148.16, hitting an intraday low of 2,102.79, and reaching an intraday high of 2,154.51.
During today's trading, there were 304 different stocks traded in 111,980 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 17,172,149 with a total turnover of Rs. 6.27 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.65 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.25 Kharba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 30.68 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 590.
Similarly, Eight companies hit the positive circuit for today.
On the flip side, SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company Limited (SJLIC) and Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (USLB) experienced the highest loss of 7.44% and 7.26% today.
In terms of sector indices, all the sectors closed in red except for "Manufacturing And Processing and Trading Index". The "Manufacturing And Processing" saw the highest gain of 2.36%, while the "Development Bank Index" saw a loss of 3.23%.
