After 7 Days Consecutive Loss: NEPSE Ends Today's Session With 10.37 Points Gain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 10.37 points, or 0.49%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,094.46 points. The previous trading day saw a loss of 3.94 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2,084.64 hitting an intraday low of 2,075.37, and reaching an intraday high of 2,098.14.
During today's trading, there were 306 different stocks traded in 1,00,782 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 10,751,164 with a total turnover of Rs. 3.83 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.89 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.33 Kharba.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led in turnover, totaling Rs. 33.53 crore, and concluded the day with a market price of Rs. 645.
Similarly, Three companies hit positive circuit today.
On the flip side, Chandragiri Hills Limited (CGH) experienced the highest loss of 9.86%.
In terms of sector indices, Four sectors indices closed in red today. The "Hydropower Index" saw the highest gain of 1.33%, while the "Hotel & Tourism Index" saw a loss of 1.86%.
