After reaching high of 1150 points, market falls to 1140.71 points today; Bank of Kathmandu Limited Promoter Shares traded in huge amount

The market today reached a high of 1150 points but closed to lose 0.44% or 4.98 points. The benchmark index closed at 1140.71 points today. The turnover stood at Rs.20.32 Crore achieved through trade of 785,740 units of shares traded through 2,802 transactions trading scrips of 161 listed companies in the process.

Promoter Shares of Bank of Kathmandu Limited (BOKLPO) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.2.22 Crore achieved through trade of 139,276 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.160 per share.

Nepal Hydro Developers (NHDL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 6.38% or 6 points and closed at Rs.100 per share. Himalayan Power Partner (HPPL) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.36% or 8 points and closed at Rs.141 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.43 points and closed at 249.78 points while Float Index lost 0.38 points and closed at 84.49 points.

Others and Mutual Funds gained 0.94% and 0.55% respectively while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points today.
