Ankhukhola Hydropower Company Auctioning 17.50 Lakhs Unclaimed Right Shares from Today

Ankhukhola Hydropower Company Limited (AKJCL) is auctioning the unclaimed portion of 1,750,248 unsold ordinary rights shares from its previous 1:1.50 rights offering. The auction opens today, 11th Ashwin, and will conclude on 20th Ashwin, 2081.

From the total rights shares issued, only 10,249,752 (85.42%) units were allocated to eligible shareholders, leaving 14.58% unclaimed by investors. Consequently, the 1,750,248 units of unsold rights shares are now available for auction to the general public.

This auction pertains to the unclaimed portion of the rights offering, which was conducted from 27th Shrawan to 16th Bhadra, 2081.

Individuals and institutions are all eligible to bid for the auction.

Nabil Investment Banking Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for this rights share auction. The minimum bid rate is set at Rs. 100, with a minimum bid quantity of 100 units. While bidders can bid for the entire issue, they must adhere to the regulatory board's guidelines, which stipulate that no entity may exceed the specified quantity of shares.
