Ankhukhola Hydropower Sales Revenue Decreases by 11.09% to Rs. 15.4 Crores; Net Worth Per Share Below Par Value at Rs 71.25

Ankhukhola Hydropower Company Limited (AKJCL) has published the Q3 financial report for the FY 2079/80 with a decline in net profit by 71.59% to stand at Rs. 86.52 Lakhs. During the corresponding quarter of last fiscal year, the company reported a net profit of Rs.3.04 Crores.
Total Revenue up to the third quarter has been decreased by 11.09% to Rs. 15.4 crores as compared to total revenue up to the third quarter of FY 2078/079.
Ankhu Khola-1, (8.4 MW) has been connected to National Grid on 8th Bhadra 2070. Being installed capacity of 8.4 MW, the company will get grant of Rs. 4.62 crore from Nepal Government. This income has not been included in revenue as it is not received yet from Nepal Government.
Administrative & General Expenses for third quarter has been increased by 18.37% whereas the finance expenses have decreased by 7.26% to stand at Rs. 8 Crores.
The current paid-up capital of the company stands at Rs.80 Crore with a negative reserve of Rs.23 Crore in reserve fund. With this capital, the capital reported it’s annualized Earning per share (EPS) at Rs. 1.44 posted net worth per share of Rs.71.25.
Ankhukhola also signs an agreement to invest 60% in Ganesh Himal Hydropower's 20 M.W. Ankhu Khola-2 Hydropower project.
