Applications Open for Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2024
Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2024 has officially launched its tenth edition, inviting applications from teenagers across Nepal aged 13 to 19. This initiative, started in 2015 in Kathmandu Valley and expanded nationwide by 2016, now extends its reach across South Asia, including India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
The program aims to recognize and empower young individuals to demonstrate exceptional initiative, creativity, and impact beyond academics. In its milestone year, Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2024 targets to engage over 100,000 teenagers from 50+ cities and 1000 schools/colleges.
The fully-funded program encourages online applications and nominations through its website until July 30, 2024. Applications will be reviewed based on participants' initiatives and achievements, with Glocal’s 20under20 selected for their vision and sustainability.
The top six finalists will undergo further evaluation by a distinguished jury panel, including representatives from Golchha Group, WWF Nepal, Coca-Cola Nepal, Ace Institute of Management, and the European Union Delegation to Nepal. Supported by a network of partners including Golchha Group, Honda, Coca-Cola, WWF, and others, Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2024 continues to celebrate and support the aspirations of young changemakers striving to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
