Appropriation Bill, 2081 Passed by Majority in House of Representatives

The Appropriation Bill, 2081 (Budget) has been passed by a majority vote in the House of Representatives (HoR).

On Tuesday, Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun presented the proposal to pass the bill during the HoR meeting, which was subsequently approved by a majority of parliamentarians. The Speaker of the House announced the passage of the bill following the vote.

With the bill's approval in the HoR, it will now be forwarded to the National Assembly. Upon approval by the upper house, the Appropriation Bill, 2081 will come into force, enabling the government to allocate and spend the funds specified in the country’s annual budget.
