Bandipur Cable Car Calls AGM on Poush 14, Major Agenda To Issue IPO

Bandipur Cable Car and Tourism Limited has called its 3rd AGM on 14th Poush, 2080. The meeting will be held in the Bandipur Project Premises (Bottom Station), Cablecar Chowk, Bandipur-4, Tanahu, starting at 11:00 a.m. that day.
Among the other agendas, there is an agenda for issuing of ordinary shares to the general public and project-affected locals. There is an agenda discuss over the use of the capital amount obtained from the sale of the ordinary shares to the general public.
To discuss about giving authority to the board of directors for the necessary procedures to be done in Nepal Securities Board, CDS and Clearing Limited, and Nepal Stock Exchange Limited respectively for public issuance, dematerialization, and listing of securities.
Furthermore, there is an agenda to endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports and appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2080/81 and discuss the director's remuneration, allowances, and other facility.
Bandipur Cable Car Limited is promoted by three institutional promoters and a group of individual promoters from different backgrounds. It has a total of five Board of Directors chaired by Mr. Ramchandra Sharma who has been involved in the company since its incorporation. The BOD is assisted by a management team with reasonable experience in the hospitality sector.
The site of the project is in Bandipur, Nepal, which is one of the major tourist destinations in Nepal. The hilltop view with clear view of Himalayan range (Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchchre, Manaslu, Ganesh and Langtang) and culturally preserved village with 18th century architectures are key attraction points for both domestic and international tourists.
Bandipur Cable Car is a private limited company, incorporated on January 6, 2013. It is coming up with a cable car and hotel project in Bandipur, Tanahu district of Nepal. The project has two modalities of services to be offered i.e. first transportation from base station to hilltop station and vice-versa through cable car; and second is lodging & hospitability services through Hotel. The project has been listed as a “National Priority Project‟ by National Planning Commission (NPC).
