Bandipur Cable Car to Begin Commercial Operations on Jestha 31st
Bandipur Cable Car, located in the tourist town of Tanahun, has completed construction and is set to commence commercial operations on Jestha 31st. President Ramchandra Sharma announced the receipt of a TUV certificate, ensuring compliance with international safety standards.
Visitors can access the famous Khadgadevi temple via cable car, with daily access facilitated, departing from the square and reaching the temple in 7 minutes.
The project also includes amenities such as the 'Drive In' restaurant and a jungle museum at the bottom station.
Chairman Sharma revealed progress on other Bandipurhill structures, including the 17-storey Queen Tower, and plans for adventurous attractions like the Sky Walk and bungee jump. The cable car boasts 21 passenger gondolas, capable of carrying 500 passengers per hour from 6 am to 11 pm. Plans include operating 6 restro cabin restaurants and restrooms.
