Barun Hydropower Company Calls SGM on Shrawan 14; Agenda to Endorse Issuance of 100% Right Shares

Barun Hydropower Company Limited (BARUN) has called its Special General Meeting (SGM) on 14th Shrawan, 2080. The meeting will be held in Lord Party Venue, Dhumbarahi, starting at 1 pm that day.
The company has proposed a 1: 1 ratio rights offering (100%) on the paid-up capital of Rs. 53.58 Crores which will be issued only after approval by regulatory bodies. After the issuance of 100% right shares, the paid-up capital will increase to Rs. 1.07 Arba. Since the capital of the company will increase after the issuance of the right shares, the meeting will also pass the resolution to amend the necessary sections of the Articles of Association accordingly and give full authority to the BoDs to carry out the necessary work related to amendments as guided by the regulatory board.
Shrawan 05 is the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are eligible to attend this meeting.
