Bhagawati Hydropower Limited (BGWT) has released its third-quarter (Q3) financial report for the fiscal year 2080/81, unveiling a notable net profit of Rs. 6.33 Crores. This figure reflects a commendable increase of 10.68% compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, where the net profit stood at Rs. 5.72 crores.
An outstanding achievement highlighted in the report is the successful clearance of long-term loans by the company, resulting in a complete elimination of its long-term debt burden.
During Q3, Bhagawati Hydropower Limited generated a total income of Rs. 12.6 crores from power sales, complemented by an additional income of Rs. 59.05 Lakhs from other sources. Administrative expenses for the quarter amounted to Rs. 2.02 Crore, with finance expenses standing at Rs. 5.51 lakhs.
In terms of financial metrics, the company's reserves and surplus currently stand at Rs. 11.67 crores, supported by a share capital of Rs. 57.2 Crores and a share premium of Rs. 2.28 Crores.
