Bharat Ranabhat elected as the Chairman of Stock Brokers Association on their 24th AGM

Stock Brokers Association of Nepal (SBAN) held its 24th AGM on Friday where it elected its new executive committee. Mr. Bharat Ranabhat (Broker No. 35) has been elected as the chairman of Stock Brokers Association. He defeated his competitor, Mr. Raj Kumar Timilsina (Broker No. 34) with a margin of 11 votes. Mr. Ranabhat, the director of Kohinoor Securities, received 29 votes while Mr. Timalsina, director of Vision Securities, received 18 votes. Mr. Ranabhat has been selected as chairman for a tenure of two years.

Mr. Tanka Rrasad Gautam (Broker No. 48) as the Vice Chairman, Mr. Dharma Raj Sapkota (Broker No. 37) as the General Secretary, Mr. Santosh Paudel (Broker No. 42) as Secretary and Mr. Gunanidhi Bhusal (Broker No. 57) as the Treasurer include other post holders of the Association. They were unopposed for their post. The members of the Association includes Mrs. Sanjila Aryal (Broker No. 47), Mr. Fadindra Dhakal (Broker No. 52), Mr. Sandeep Chachan (Broker No. 55), Mr. Raman Dev Pant (Broker No. 40) and Mr. Suman Gautam (Broker No. 4).
