Bid Opening Day for Share Auction of Himalaya Urja Bikas Company Limited

The bids received in the auction of 14,46,359 units of ordinary right shares of Himalaya Urja Bikas Company Limited (HURJA) will be opened today, i.e. 18th Ashwin, 2081, starting at 10:00 am.
The company had issued a 1: 1 ratio right share issue to its shareholders from 24th Shrawan to 12th Bhadra, 2081. A total of 99,00,000 shares were issued to eligible shareholders at a par value of Rs. 100 per unit. Eligible applicants were allotted 84,53,641 shares. Thus, the remaining 14,46,359 unit shares were auctioned to the general public. These are the unclaimed rights shares, the auction opened on 7th Ashwin and closed on 14th Ashwin, 2081.
Nabil Investment Banking Limited was appointed as the issue manager of this right share.
14,46,359 units of ordinary right shares were auctioned. Individuals, institutions, and companies were all eligible to bid for the auction.
