Bonus Shares of These 3 Companies Listed in NEPSE

2,05,955 unit bonus shares of Manakamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MKLB) have been isted in NEPSE.
The 4th AGM of the company held on 19th Poush, 2078 endorsed a 17% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The 66th meeting of the board of directors held on Kartik 16 decided to distribute the entirety of the dividend in bonus shares. The paid-up capital of the company during dividend distribution was Rs. 12,11,50,000. Thus, the bonus shares are worth slightly over Rs. 2.05 crores.
Since the company had started a joint operation with Smart Laghubitta on Shrawan 11, 2077 last year, the company has received tax exemption on the dividend proposal. However, shareholders who bought the shares of the company after the joint operation commencement date will have to pay the tax amount on the dividend proposed.
MKLB closed at Rs. 1,106.10 today.
49,41,000 unit bonus shares of Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) have also been listed in NEPSE.
The 20th AGM of the company held on Poush 23 endorsed a 30% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The meeting of the board of directors held on Mangsir 01 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 1.83 Arba. 27% bonus shares and 3% cash dividend (tax purposes) have been proposed. Thus, the bonus shares are worth a little over Rs. 49.41 crores and the cash dividend is worth a little over Rs. 5.49 crores.
The same bonus shares are now listed in NEPSE. Poush 07 was the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout.
CBBL closed at Rs. 1,105 today.
Similarly, 6,85,401 unit bonus shares of Shree Investment & Finance Company Limited (SIFC) have been listed in NEPSE.
The company convened its 27th AGM for the FY 2077-78 under the leadership of its chairman Mr. Sashi Raj Pandey on Poush 29, 2078.
Apart from the regular financial reports, the AGM endorsed the board’s proposal to provide 7.70% bonus shares and 3.30% cash dividend to its shareholders from the profit it had made in the previous fiscal year. The new paid-up value of the finance company has scaled to Rs. 95.86 crore after the capitalization of the endorsed bonus shares.
The same bonus shares are now listed in NEPSE. SIFC closed at Rs. 369 today.
