BREAKING: Absconding Bhatbhateni Supermarket's Owner Gurung Apprehended

Min Bahadur Gurung, the Chairman and also the Managing Director of Bhat-Bhateni Group, has been arrested.

It has been understood that the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) team of Nepal Police arrested Gurung from his residence in Naxal in the Lalit Niwas land grab scam.

In Magh 2077, he was released on a bond of Rs 2 crores in a case involving illegally transferring government land in the name of individual by proceeding of a special court. Now, the CIB is investigating the case. He has been arrested in relation to the same case.

Gurung was accused of embezzling 299 ropani 3 annas of government land belonging to Lalita Niwas. Earlier, he was on the list of absconders.
