Breaking Records: Nepal's Gold Market Hits All-Time High
Nepal's gold market reached a new peak on September 15, 2024, with significant price hikes.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold surged to Rs. 1,56,800 per tola, up from Rs. 1,56,300 per tola the previous day.
Tejabi gold also saw an increase, now priced at Rs. 1,56,100 per tola, marking a Rs. 500 rise from the prior day's Rs. 1,55,600 per tola.
This notable surge follows a recent high in fine gold prices, which reached Rs. 1,56,300 per tola on September 13, 2024, highlighting the market's volatility.
Silver prices have similarly climbed, rising by Rs. 40 per tola to Rs. 1,900, compared to Rs. 1,860 per tola the day before.
