Gold prices in Nepal continue to reach new heights. On September 26, 2024, the market marked another milestone with a significant price increase.

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold climbed to Rs. 1,60,700 per tola, up from Rs. 1,60,400 per tola the previous day.

Tejabi gold also experienced a rise, now priced at Rs. 1,60,000 per tola, reflecting an increase of Rs. 300 from the previous rate of Rs. 1,59,700 per tola.

This notable rise follows the recent peak in fine gold prices on September 25, 2024, when they reached Rs. 1,60,400 per tola, underscoring the market's continued volatility.

Meanwhile, silver prices have remained stable at Rs. 1,955 per tola.

Although domestic prices are rising, international factors remain significant, with gold trading at $2,658.80 per ounce globally, while silver prices remain constant at $31.84 per ounce.
