Breaking Records: Nepal's Gold Market Hits All-Time High
The price of gold has soared to a new all-time high in the Nepalese market, spurred by a single-day increase of Rs. 600.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is currently trading at Rs. 1, ,62,400 per tola, surpassing yesterday's price of Rs. 1,61,800 per tola.
Tejabi gold also saw an uptick, rising to Rs. 1,61,700 per tola from the previous day’s rate of Rs. 1,61,100 per tola.
This development signifies a significant milestone for gold prices, following the previous record set on October 17, 2024, when fine gold hit Rs. 1,61,800 per tola.
In contrast, silver prices have remained stable at Rs. 1,950 per tola.
