Buddha Air's Revenue Hits Rs 3.83 Billion in First Six Months of FY 2023/24, Secures 67% Market Share
Buddha Air, Nepal's popular private airline, is celebrating big wins in the fiscal year 2023/24. With a revenue of Rs 3.83 billion in the first six months, the airline is flying high. Its market share has shot up to 67%, a significant jump from last year's 56%.
In the previous fiscal year, it earned Rs 12.16 billion, showing steady growth over the years. With turnovers of Rs 10 billion in 2021/22, Rs 3.33 billion in 2020/21, and Rs 4.94 billion in 2019/20, Buddha Air's performance is one of resilience and progress.
Adding more feathers to its cap, Buddha Air recently secured a substantial bank loan worth Rs 1.6 billion, a clear testament to its rock-solid creditworthiness. ICRA Nepal gave a nod of approval by rating its long-term loans at [ICRANP] LA- and short-term loans at [ICRANP] A2+.
