Campaign to take rights of Singha Durbar to people’s door step underway: VP Pun

Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has said that the campaign to take power of Singha Durbar to the door step of the people’s was being implemented.

At a programme organised by Bhimduttanagar municipality of Kanchanpur on Wednesday, Vice-President Pun said that it has taken some time to take the rights of Singha Durbar to villages as there was challenge to carry out works as per new federal set up of the country.

The Vice-President said that far-western province has immense potentials of tourism with numerous historical places.

The Vice-President said that all are committed to nation, nationality and protection of sovereignty as well as to make the country prosperous.

Vice-President, who reached here to visit the Chandani-Dodhara suspension bridge via Shuklaphanta National Park, walked over the 1,456 metre long bridge. The Shuklaphanta National Park authorities briefed the Vice-President about the wildlife conservation initiatives in the park.

The Vice-President is scheduled to inaugurate ‘Bedkot Religious and Tourism Fair’ to be organised at Bedkot municipality from Thursday.
