CEDB Hydropower to Issue Rights Shares After Bonus Adjustment, Calls AGM for Ashwin 21

CEDB Hydropower Development Company Limited (CHDC) has called its AGM on 21st Ashwin, 2081. The meeting will be held in Kalimati Banquet, Kalimati, Kathmandu, starting at 10:00 AM that day.
Among the other agendas, the AGM will endorse an 11% dividend for the fiscal year 2080/81. The board of directors meeting on Bhadra 29 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 93.17 Crore. 11% bonus shares have been proposed. Thus, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 10.24 crores.
Furthermore, an agenda is to endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports and appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2081/82. There is an agenda to approve the appointment of independent directors.
Similarly, The company has resolved to issue 54.5% right shares worth Rs. 56.36 crore after adjusting for the allocation of 11% bonus shares from the existing paid-up capital of Rs. 93.17 Crore. This adjustment will result in an enhanced paid-up capital, reaching Rs. 1.03 Arba after incorporating the bonus shares.
The book closure date is on Ashwin 7. Therefore, the shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to dividend payout, and can attend this AGM.
