CEO of Vijaya Laghubitta elected as the President of Nepal Microfinance Banker’s Association
Nepal Microfinance Banker’s Association has appointed Mr. Basantraj Lamsal as the President of the association in its 13th session. Mr. Lamsal, CEO of Vijaya Laghubitta (VLBS) has been appointed for a tenure of 2 years.
Similarly, the session elected Mr. Bheshraj Panthi, CEO of First Microfinance (FMDBL), as the vice president and Mr. Pravesh Acharya, CEO of Omen Microfinance, as the secretary of the association.
The association is under discussion for unanimous appointment of the general secretary and the treasurer of the association.
The 6 members include Mr. Bhojraj Basyal from Swabalamban Laghubitta (SWBBL), Mr. Keshav Poudel from Sabaiko Laghubitta (SABSL), Mr. Devendra Bahadur Basnet from Summit Laghubitta (SMFDB), Mr. Meen Bahadur Bohra from Kalika Laghubitta (KMCDB) and Forward Community Laghubitta’s (FOWAD) Mr. Aas Narayan Chaudhary and Mr. Indra Kumar Baaniya.
