The Nepal Chamber of Commerce has strongly condemned the violence, vandalism, arson, and looting that occurred during protests last Friday in areas like Baneshwor, Tinkune, and Koteshwor. The chamber expressed deep concern over the tragic deaths of two youths, including a journalist, and the damage to media houses.

It emphasized that such violent acts harm both public and private property, and that victims should receive appropriate compensation. The chamber also stated that protests infringed on the natural rights of citizens and businesses. It urged all stakeholders to remain calm, as such activities can further destabilize the economy, which is gradually recovering.
