Chandra Singh Saud reaches Supreme Court; Future to be decided after the hearing of Supreme Court

Former General Manager of Nepal Stock Exchange, Mr Chandra Singh Saud has reached at the doors of Supreme Court against the cabinet’s decision which revoked his appointment. Mr Saud has claimed that his removal from the post of GM has been made in an illegal way.

The meeting of the cabinet had removed more than a dozen officials appointed by the previous government under the leadership of Mr Sher Bahadur Deuba.

However, Mr Saud has been continuously stating that his appointment was made after passing an exam similar to that of Public Service Commission.

Supreme Court might be hearing his appeal either today or on Sunday after which his future will be decided.

The Ministry of Finance has already appointed Mr Ramesh Kharel, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance to fulfill the vacant position.
