Chariot procession of Seto Machhindranath begins
The chariot procession of Seto Machhindranath, the god of rain and good times, has begun on Saturday.
On the first day of the three-day procession, the pulling of the chariot began from Keltol and was brought to Tindhara Pathshala, Durbarmarg before reaching Asan, informed the Chariot Management Committee, adding that hundreds of devotees and people participated and gathered around to conduct a Puja at the chariot.
The pulling of the chariot will conclude at Machhindra Bahal after going through Asan, Basantapur, Jaisidewal, and Lagan.
