Chhimek Laghubitta Reported Impressive 53.71% Increment in Business Volume and Profitability in Q1; Look at the Major Highlights

Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL) published the first-quarter report of FY 2079/2080 with an impressive 53.71% increment in Net Profit. As per the report published by the micro finance company, the net profit increased to Rs. 32.91 Crores as compared to Rs. 21.41 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The borrowings of the company increased by mere 0.42% to Rs. 4.798 Arba which was Rs. 4.77 Arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The deposits of the company increased by 5.55% to Rs 28.51 Arba. The company’s loans and advances have also increased by mere 2.15% to 33.59 Arba in this quarter.
The net interest income (core revenue) has increased by 38.62% to Rs. 73.99 Crores compared to Rs. 53.38 Crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company stood at Rs. 2.32 Arba in this quarter and its reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 3.91 Arba.
Its annualized earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs. 56.64. The net worth per share is Rs. 270.30. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 17.39 times.
