Chilime Hydropower Q3: Net Profit Stands at Rs. 52.89 Crores, EPS at Rs. 9.72 & Net Worth Per Share at Rs. 143.23

Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL) has published its third-quarter unaudited report with an incline in net profit by 1.34%. The profit increased to Rs. 52.89 crores in this quarter from Rs. 52.20 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Chilime Hydropower has sold electricity worth Rs. 80.42 Crores which has decreased by 2.33% in this quarter. According to management, as there was a decrease in the amount of electricity purchased as compared to the Chaitra of the previous year, the income from the sale of electricity decreased by 2.33% in this quarter. CHCL also earned finance (interest) income of Rs 17.58 crore till Q3.
The company reported administrative expenses of Rs. 6.40 Crores and Operating expenses worth Rs. 7.38 Crores for this quarter.
Its reserve fund stands at Rs. 3.13 Arba with share capital at Rs 7.25 Arba. With this capital, the earnings per share of the company stand at Rs. 9.72. The net worth per share at Rs 143.23 and the P/E ratio stood at 50.42 times.
