Chinese Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Meets Nepal's President Ram Chandra Paudel

On Wednesday, Chinese Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Sun Weidong paid a courtesy call on Nepal’s President Ram Chandra Paudel. The meeting, which took place at the Office of the President in Sheetal Niwas, focused on strengthening Nepal-China relations and addressing mutual interests and concerns, according to a statement from the Office of the President.

President Paudel recognized China as a long-standing major development partner of Nepal and highlighted China's significant contributions to Nepal's development over the past seven decades.

Vice Minister Sun is on a three-day official visit to Nepal, which began on Monday. During his visit, he also participated in the 16th meeting of the Nepal-China Foreign Secretary Level Diplomatic Consultation Mechanism.
