Chinese Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Sun Weidong to Visit Nepal Today

Sun Weidong, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of China, will arrive in Nepal on Monday for a three-day official visit. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sun will participate in the 16th meeting of the Nepal-China Diplomatic Consultative Mechanism scheduled for June 25 in Kathmandu.

Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal will lead the Nepali delegation in the consultative mechanism meeting, accompanied by senior officials from various ministries. The discussions will focus on bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between Nepal and China.

During his visit, Vice Foreign Minister Sun will also hold separate courtesy meetings with President Ram Chandra Paudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. He is scheduled to depart for China on June 26.
