Cimex Nepal Introduces Industry-Leading Extended Warranty for BYD Electric Vehicles

Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD in Nepal, has introduced an enhanced Extended Warranty Policy for all BYD electric vehicles, setting a new standard in EV after-sales support. The battery warranty has been extended to 10 years or 200,000 km, and the motor warranty now also covers 10 years or 200,000 km.

The whole vehicle warranty has been increased to 5 years or 125,000 km, while the general vehicle parts warranty has been upgraded to 7.5 years or 187,500 km. These changes highlight BYD’s commitment to customer satisfaction and product reliability. CEO Sahil Shrestha emphasized the company’s dedication to supporting the shift to electric mobility with reliable service and a wide support network, including 13 service centers across Nepal.
