Citizen Investment Fund Donates Rs. 51 Lakh to Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund

The Citizen Investment Fund has donated 5.1 million rupees to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund to assist flood and landslide victims caused by recent heavy rains.

On Friday, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, along with Chairman Prof. Dr. Surya Bahadur Thapa and Executive Director Parbat Kumar Karki, presented the check.

Prime Minister Oli expressed gratitude for the financial support aimed at helping those affected by the disasters that occurred on Ashwin 11th and 12th.

This contribution is part of the fund's institutional social responsibility efforts, which have previously included financial and material support. Initial reports estimate the damage from the rains at 17 billion rupees, though the final assessment may reveal higher losses.
