Citizen Life Insurance Company (CLI) Proposes 5.26% Dividend For FY 2079/80

Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited (CLI) proposes a 5.2632% dividend for FY 2079/80. This is the company's first dividend after being listed in NEPSE.

The 97th meeting of the board of directors held on Poush 16 has proposed a 5.2632% dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80. 5% bonus shares and 0.2632% cash dividends have been proposed. Thus, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 18.75 crores, and the cash dividend (including tax) is worth Rs. 98.68 lakhs. The company's existing paid-up capital is Rs. 3.75 Arba.

Note that this dividend will be distributed only after approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM.
