Citizens Bank Marks 18 Years of Excellence with Bold Innovations and Nationwide Impact

Citizens Bank International Limited, established on Baishakh 7, 2064, celebrated its 18th anniversary on Baishakh 7, 2082, entering its 19th year. Over 18 years, it has served 18.79 lakhs customers and operated 200 branches with deposits of Rs. 2.02 Kharba and loans of Rs. 1.73 Kharba by the third quarter.

The bank celebrated its anniversary with a nationwide morning rally involving 921 employees to promote financial literacy and organized a major blood donation program with 913 donors across 33 branches.

Embracing digital banking, it launched services like Tap & Pay and Nepal’s first Cross-Bank Teller QR payment. It also introduced a new "Citizens Freelancer Saving Account" with dual currency options (NPR & USD), high interest rates, and free value-added services including health insurance, internet banking, debit card, and Demat account.
