Citizens Bank Supports Public School with Computers and Printers
Citizens Bank International Limited, under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, has donated computers and a printer to Lotus Public School in Budhiganga, Morang. The school provides free English-medium education to around 150 underprivileged children, including Dalits, indigenous groups, and orphans.
During a special event, CEO Ganesh Raj Pokharel handed over the equipment, expressing hope that it would enhance students’ learning experiences. The bank also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting education, social, and economic development through future CSR programs.
Recently, Citizens Bank won the prestigious "Bank of the Year 2024" award and introduced Nepal’s first virtual credit card, "Citizens FonePay Credit Card", along with an innovative mobile banking service for share applications and CRN number services. With 200 branches across 61 districts, the bank serves 1.85 million customers nationwide.
