Citizens Bank Supports Raksha Nepal Under CSR, Reaffirms Commitment to Social Welfare

Citizens Bank International Ltd., under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, has provided daily food items and sanitary pads to Rakshya Nepal, an organization working for the protection and rehabilitation of women and children vulnerable to sexual abuse, trafficking, and violence.

Rakshya Nepal has been active for over two decades in empowering affected individuals through education, skill development, legal aid, and self-defense training. The bank expressed its commitment to supporting such humanitarian efforts and aims to continue launching impactful CSR programs in various social sectors.

Citizens Bank, recently awarded “Bank of the Year 2024”, also introduced Nepal’s first virtual credit card in collaboration with Fonepay, along with CRN, and shared application services via mobile banking. The bank serves over 1.85 million customers through its widespread network across 61 districts.
