Citizens Capital Appoints New Chairman and Expands Investment Services Nationwide
Citizens Capital Limited, the subsidiary company of Citizens Bank International Limited, appointed Mr. Rajendra Lal Shrestha as Chairman during its 125th Board of Directors meeting held on 13th Ashadh, replacing Mr. Paras Kumar Kafle. Additionally, Mr. Narayan Raj Adhikari was appointed as Director to fill a vacant position nominated by Citizens Bank International Limited.
Other attendees included Mr. Pramesh Raj Kayastha, Mr. Subash Khadka representing the Employees' Provident Fund, independent directors Mr. Abhijit Mul and Mrs. Jyotsna Bohora Pandey, CEO Mr. Sabir Bade Shrestha, and company secretary Mr. Ramesh Luitel.
Citizens Capital Limited obtained the Securities Board of Nepal approval to engage in various investor-related activities such as promoting collective investment funds, securities issuance and sales management, investment management (portfolio management), underwriting, share registration, and dematerialized accounts.
The company, a subsidiary of Citizens Bank, involves co-investment from the Employee Provident Fund and prominent industrialists, with its registrar's office located at Batule Ghar, Dillibazar, Kathmandu. The organization supports investors nationwide by offering portfolio management services through all branch offices of Citizens Bank, enabling participation in the capital market from outside Kathmandu.
