Commercial Banks Revise Mangsir Interest Rates; Machhapuchchhre Bank Leads with Significant Cuts

Commercial banks have released their updated interest rates for Mangsir, effective from the start of the month. Among the 20 banks, 12 opted to lower their rates, seven retained the same rates as last month, and one increased its rate.

Machhapuchchhre Bank made the most notable reductions, lowering individual fixed deposit rates by 1 percent. On the other hand, Rastriya Banijya Bank stands out as the only bank to raise its rate, increasing it by 0.20 percent for individual fixed deposits.

For Mangsir, NIC Asia Bank offers the highest interest rate on individual fixed deposits, while Laxmi Sunrise Bank provides the lowest.
