Introduction

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited, initially registered as a joint-venture, has been in operation in Nepal since 1987. It has 150 years of history in operation in banking sectors, operating in various parts of the worlds fastest- growing market with a global network of over 1700 branches in over 70 countries. It is the first bank that has started ‘Know Your Customer’ procedure on all customer account and implemented the policy of Anti-Money Laundering in Nepal.
